By the Sea Construction Services was founded in 1991 with a passion to work within the construction industry. For more than 30 years we've delivered quality, professional services in a timely and cost-effective manner—striving to create mutually beneficial, long-term relationships.
BTS provides comprehensive Construction Management, Owner Representation, and Project Management services—from program management and construction quality control to A/E selection, bid management, CPM scheduling, claims review, and expert witness work.

Michael S Purdom
Sr. Manager
Brings over 35 years of construction and program management experience spanning project management, scope, time and cost management, quality control, human resources, risk management, and forensic engineering. He oversees daily construction activities and coordinates between field operations, administration, accounting, ownership, and design teams.
Michael A Purdom
Sr. Construction Manager
Originally from Lacey Township, New Jersey, he grew up learning the building trades. His background includes representing ownership interests in restaurants, grocery stores, and office spaces. As a senior manager he combines expert knowledge with field presence to ensure project success.
Ryan Purdom
Sr. Project Manager
Served four years in the military while gaining construction management knowledge. He holds OSHA certification and hazardous-waste disposal training, with demonstrated leadership in site management and Department of Defense project experience.
Lisa Purdom
Administrator
With BTS since its inception, Lisa manages office administration and accounting oversight. She brings over 20 years of professional services experience and serves as the primary client contact point.
Peter Julo
Sr. Project Manager
A licensed Civil P.E. with 29 years of diverse project experience. He holds architecture degrees from Iowa State University (B.A. 1987, M.A. 1993) and maintains licensure in New Jersey.
Peter Thompson
Sr. Project Manager
Over 40 years managing public and commercial construction projects exceeding one billion dollars in value, with extensive MEP coordination and claims mitigation expertise.
Samantha Purdom
Construction Administrator
Samantha manages day-to-day administrative operations for construction projects from start to finish. Skilled in coordinating schedules, documentation, contracts, and communication across all stakeholders, she ensures projects remain organized and run efficiently and on schedule.
